Sometimes you just need to get in the car and drive.

For quite sometime I have partnered with the Winnipeg Folk Festival as a photographer. Helping them capture images that showed the festival has always been a joy. This past year was a bit trying due to some family medical concerns, and I found my focus shifting to being more focused on the moments that were happening. It was a wonderful experience, and one that allowed me to create some beautiful images from my time spent there. And although I won’t be returning this coming year, I can still look back with fondness on what was created this past year. I look forward to the trip out west I will be taking this coming summer during the time I would normally spend at the festival, and the work that will come from it. And I can’t wait to see the incredible work that the incredible group of photographers that will be covering the festival this year will produce.
